News / Former Daycare Owner Sentenced to 25 Years for Role in Child Pornography CasePHILADELPHIA—Concetta Jackson, 47, of Collingdale, Pennsylvania, was sentenced today by U.S. District Court Judge Lawrence M. Stengel to 300 months in prison for one count of producing child pornography, in connection with the case against John Worman, announced United States Attorney Michael L. Levy. Jackson pleaded guilty to the charge in September 2008.Jackson ran a babysitting service and, between 1997 and 2002, she would turn over the children in her care to John Worman knowing that he was going to sexually abuse them. With Jackson’s knowledge, Worman videotaped and photographed his sexual abuse of the children. Jackson also turned over a six-week-old baby for Worman to sexually abuse and allowed Worman to live in her home with her and her children. Worman and another co-defendant in the case, Dorothy Prawdzik, were convicted after a three-week jury trial. The evidence at trial consisted largely of photographs and videos that Worman had made of his crimes. Judge Stengel sentenced Worman to 120 years in prison and sentenced Prawdzik to 30 years in prison.
