News / York Haven Man Charged with Wire Fraud

United States Attorney Michael L. Levy today announced the filing of an information against Bryan Edward Enders, charging him with one count of wire fraud. According to the information, Enders induced an investor to turn money over to him, ostensibly to invest in a real estate partnership. The information charges that Enders did not start or maintain a real estate partnership; rather, he used the investor’s funds for his own personal use. In total, the victim lost over $400,000.

If convicted the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of 20 years' imprisonment, three years' supervised release, a $250,000 fine, and a $100 special assessment, with an estimated advisory sentencing guidelines range of 27-33 months imprisonment.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Joan E. Burnes.
