NEWS / CBP Officers Seize Cocaine Found Under Teenagers Clothes at Nogales Port

Nogales, Ariz. – While screening travelers entering the United States on Tuesday afternoon, Customs and Border Protection officers at the DeConcini port of entry in Nogales on Friday seized almost three pounds of cocaine after finding it during an inspection of a teenager walking into the country.

At 1:50 p.m., Tuesday afternoon, CBP officers screening people walking into the country at the Morley pedestrian entrance stopped a 16-year-old girl when their suspicions were raised after observing how she walked slightly bent over. When the officers performed a search of the girl, they discovered a package of cocaine weighing almost three pounds under her clothing.

The cocaine was seized and the girl was arrested and turned over to special agents with Immigration and Customs Enforcement for further investigation.
