NEWS / Egyptian consulate and embassy document jurisdiction updates

Recently, diplomatic missions of Egypt in the United States, instituted a requirements of jurisdiction when it comes to documents. Very often, business documents would be signed and notarized or certified in the United States, even though the main office of the entity would be outside of the US. This was not an issue before, however, with the new requirements everything has changed. Under the new rule, if the entity address is located in Finland, yet the document was executed in Colorado and bears the seal of CO State and US Department of State, it will fall out of jurisdiction. It will have to be attested in Finland for use in Egypt.
