NEWS / GA burglars steal birth certificates and social security cards during house break-in

A group of burglars has stolen birth certificates and social security cards, along with 2 television sets and 2 laptops, during a home break-in burglary in a house located on the 1700 block of Richmond Avenue SE in southeastern Atlanta, Georgia.

The woman residing in the house was not present during the time of the burglary but got video footage of the burglars on her CCTV Ring camera, which can be viewed at WSB-TV. The woman called the police and submitted the footage her camera captured.

The footage shows two men in their late teens to early 20s climb over the fence and enter the house on November 17 at around 1:19 am.

All in all, the men stole 2 television sets, 2 laptops, the birth certificates of the woman and her son, as well as their social security cards. An anonymous witness told police they saw the men attempt to sell the stolen television sets at a local gas station right after the burglary.
