The principle objective of outsourcing is to free up a company’s capital and management to focus on the company’s principal products and services, while providing the company support services that enable it company to be competitive and yet flexible to adapt to its changing business needs. While a primary goal of outsourcing is typically to save money, customers are usually not satisfied with just receiving the same service they have historically had (sometimes referred to as “the same mess for less”). Instead they looking for improved processes, access to more skills, and services that can quickly scale to their needs.
