British embassy in Uzbekistan to resume visa services

TASHKENT. Aug 7 (Interfax) - The British embassy in Uzbekistan is to resume issuing visas on Monday.

"With effect from 7 August, 2006, the British Embassy in Tashkent will resume full visa services," the embassy said in an earlier press release.

The UK embassy will continue to offer full consular services such as passport renewal, birth registrations and notary work, the release reads.
