NEWS / FBI Background check processing times are revamped

FBI has introduced the new online procedure, designed to expedite the processing times for the background checks. After submitted the order online, the applicant still needs to send in the required paperwork to the FBI office for processing. However, this new procedure allows for faster handling. In the past, mail in request would take 14 to 16 weeks from start to finish, whereas now you can the certificate back in 2-3 weeks after everything is submitted. Of course using the official fbi channeler still remains the quickest option. However, there are many instances where channeler services may not be used.
