The most significant seizure occurred early Saturday morning at the Border Patrol checkpoint located south of Falfurrias. Agents referred the vehicle to the secondary inspection area where they discovered 366 bundles of marijuana, with a total weight of 8,451 pounds, hidden inside the tanker.

Thursday, agents apprehended a U.S. citizen who attempted to smuggle 117 bundles of marijuana, with a total weight of 2,972 pounds, through the Border Patrol checkpoint south of Falfurrias. A government K-9 alerted to the tractor-trailer during primary inspection. The contraband was concealed inside moving boxes.
